This snapshot from 'Consumer Reports' illustrates the financial benefits of proper maintenance- compared to the periodic purchase of a new car. Note the analysis is in $US (and 'miles'). You can see that Depreciation consumes the most significant amount of 'Your Money' and is nearly TWICE the cost of ROUTINE MAINTENTANCE on the vehicle you keep!
